St.Louis, Missouri - Belleville and O'fallon, Illinois

I lived in the Saint Louis Area from December 1994 until October 1998. My family first moved to O'fallon (pronounced O fowllin), Illinois. O'fallon is located east of Saint Louis, Missouri about 5 - 7 miles. I then moved onto Scott AFB located just south of O'Fallon. And later I moved back into the city of O'Fallon. O'fallon is one of the many suburbs of St. Louis. Belleville, Fairview Heights, and caseyville are among a few others near by. Although I did not live within the city limits of St. Louis I was driving age when I lived here. So the whole area was my stomping grounds. St.Louis has a kick ass death metal scene and a rising black metal scene today.

The photo shown is taken from a nearby skyscraper. The St. Louis Arch, a famous monument erected to signify the gateway to the west. Louis & Clark first started their expedition of western North America from this spot. Also shown is the mighty Mississippi River. Below the picture is downtown st.louis although it is unseen in the photo. Behind the trees to the left hides Leclede's landing, the best drinking spot in Missouri. Lots of clubs, food, and old cobblestone roads dating over a hundred years. Much to do in the city and I yearn to return to it.
