Expected arrival to the Franz household:  April 28, 2007. 
This is going to be a VERY long week of waiting for Mommy Lynette!

Mr. Wilson is a loving, friendly, black and white, 6-year-old Shih Tzu (his birthday is 06/14/2001).  He is a bit overweight but we have him on a light dog food diet.  From puppy hood, Mr. Wilson brought sunshine and purpose into the life of an elderly woman who loved him dearly and gladly cared for his every need.  Sadly, his companion died recently and he misses her terribly.  Her family could not keep Mr. Wilson but they too, love the little guy and wanted him to have a good home, so they brought him to the Safehouse.  Mr. Wilson is housetrained but will need time to adjust to your household and schedule.  A healthy, friendly, tail-wagging bundle of fun who loves playing with toys and entertaining his family with his joyful antics.  He has lived a very quiet life and will do best in an adult's only home or one with older children, although visiting grandchildren would be okay with him.  Mr. Wilson is a little nervous around other small dogs but friendly and he seems to ignore cats.  One of the greatest joys he shared with his special lady was their daily walk around the neighborhood.  Mr. Wilson enjoys going for walks and meeting new friends or curling up on a pillow for a nap.  Mr. Wilson is the perfect family dog.  A devoted loving pet who deserves a future with a forever family that will appreciate his wonderful companionship, loving trust and playful personality.
