 Carl Got Shingles For Christmas
Last Christmas we had such a
lovely visit with Lynette's family in Lincoln Nebraska. Carl had this terrible rash though, that
kept him awake at night and itched like crazy. It wasn't until we got back that we found out that it was the
shingles.
For over a year now Carl has
been fighting a chronic infection. The antibiotics he was on last fall had weakened his
defenses and opened the door for the shingles. At least now there is so much Cipro in is system he doesn't
have to worry about opening the mail.
Consulting
Carl's consulting business is
still keeping us going. His contract has
been extended into next year. In
February it will be four years since he started. Yes, he is still thinking about entering the ministry, someday. In the mean time we are already too
actively involved in . . .
Our New Church
Carl has been elected to the
office of Treasurer Elect at St. Paul, Melrose Park. Alex is starting to do activities with
their youth group. Lynette has
returned to her acting roots with a few monologues during Wednesday evening
Lenten and Advent services. She also
has put together a website for the church at www.lutheransonline.com/lo/StPaulMP
