Starship Troopers takes place in the distant future. Johnny Rico is living a
great life in Buenous Aires. Carmen Ibanez his girlfriend is thinking of joining
the Federation and becoming a pilot. Rico then decides to go along with her.
Rico's parents devastated by the news of him wanting to join the federation try to reason
with him but his mind is made up. Once he is enrolled he is sent to a boot camp
to train to be a solider of the federation. After weeks of grulling exercices
and training Rico is apointed squad leader. Then he soon finds out Carmen has
dumped him. Soon after that in a live fire exercise Rico gets one of his squad members killed.
He is then sentenced to ten lashes with a wip.
Then Arachnids a alien race of giant insect like creatures launch a meteour at earth by shooting plasma
at a asteriod belt sending the asteroid hurtuling towards earth.
Rico's family were killed in the bug attack on earth so he stays with the Mobile Infantry
to kill every last bug...
