Everyone needs something to believe in. For some it's God and the church. Others it's Jehovah, Shiva, Odin, etc. Still others believe in luck, fate, chance...or themselves.
For centuries humankind has fought over the Truth. Over who's Truth is the one Truth. We will never know. There are some things, however, we all hold self evident. Most of these are in the bibles, Torahs, and other scriptures. The Ten Commandments.... etc. If we can focus on the similarities instead of the differences, Just maybe we can start to get along better.
My point is we all believe in something. Before we cast a haughty eye at our neighbor, take stock on your own foiables. We all have them.
After all we're only human!
Do I believe in God?
I believe in myself and the fact that I can achieve anything I set my mind to.
I think there is a higher force that is unexplainable. I'm not ready to put a label on it yet. A few years ago I lost my grandmother to cancer. This was the first time I lost someone very close to me. Of course I took very hard. I like to think that she is still somewhere looking over me. It comforts and motivates me. I'm sure there is some sort of afterlife. I know I will see her again someday.
