Chris vocals, rhythm guitar, Phil lead guitar, Ryan (Stan) bass, and Ryan loud intense drums, grew up in the small town of Woodridge Illinois. The bands history goes back to the beginning of high school when Chris and Phil played in several local bands together. As they searched for the missing pieces of the duo they found Ryan and Ryan. SPECIAL ORDER has been playing steadily for over 2 years and have ended up with a 18 original song set list, a few covers, and many good songs in the working. With several live performances under their belt, SPECIAL ORDER has won many battle of the bands at local clubs and have head lined shows with other Chicago acts. SPECIAL ORDER is planning to continue their steady live performances and are looking to set up shows with bigger acts to keep their following growing.

In March of 1998, SPECIAL ORDER released a 6 song EP titled " Don't Judge a Band by Their Shirts." SPECIAL ORDER have been aired on several local radio stations. These stations include WONC Naperville IL 89.1, WDGC Downers Grove IL 88.3, WKDI Dekalb IL 93.5, WKAT The Kat 105.5, and other stations in the Chicago land area. SPECIAL ORDER has also played live on WDGC for support of there EP.

SPECIAL ORDER is a committed band that will go to any lengths to be notice to expand there audience. With playing many clubs, and other town centers people always leave with a lasting impression of SPECIAL ORDER as one of the best live performers of rock today.

SPECIAL ORDER with the new release of their six song E.P. Dont judge a band by their shirts have had a great response, and have managed to climb from #17 to #3 in the last 4 months on 88.3 F.M’s CMJ chart.
