Wiliam Huffman Alexander was born 20 October 1863 the son of William Riley Alexander and Elizabeth Tuttle in Wayne County, Ky. He married first Elizabeth Withers on January 5, 1887. Elizabeth was born October 16th 1864 probably in Wayne County, Ky she died May 19th 1895 in Wayne County, Ky.
Upon the death of Elizabeth her sister Nancy Jane Withers moved in to help with the children. William married Nancy Jane Withers sometime later. Nancy Jane Withers was born May 29, 1870 probably in Wayne County she died May 28,1948 one day short of her 78th birthday in Wayne County, Ky.
Both Nancy Jane Withers and Elizabeth Witers are believed to be the sisters of Mary Withers wife of William Huffmans brother James.
William Huffman Alexander died 3 November 1936 in beach Valley, Wayne County, Ky.
