My mind is filled with treasures
of happy childhood days
My heart was filled with joy then
as my mama sang and played

There ain't no song thats sweeter
No voice that stilled the fears
No arms that hugged me tighter
Than mama's through the years.

(Chorus)
There's no one like mama.
She taught me right from wrong.
there's no one like mama
No love could be as strong.

Her hair has turned to silver
Her eyesight dimmed with time
Her pace a little slower,
as she walks her hand in mine.

Her face and hands are careworn
from years of working so hard.
Her ears don't hear so good now
But her heart still hears it all.
