This is his earth...
through aeons of time He planned it,
this tiny sphere called earth.
He molded it with His loving hands
said it was good and of great worth,
He molded the Mountains and the Valleys
and separated the land and the seas.
Then he planted all the flowers
and blessed the great majestic trees.
in a garden filled with love
He placed the lion and the lamb
The birds to fly the heavens
and creatures to roam the land.
Then He looked at the awesome wonder,
and knew that it was good.
He wanted it to be just right for us.
Our Father knew it would.
When the earth had been completed
and was ready for Adam's birth
Then He created Adam's body
from the dust of this earth
Then He took a rib from Adams side,
the one closest to his heart,
and created a woman, and named her Eve.
One of His greatest works of art.
They were told to tend this garden
and love all that dwelled within
and they could eat of any tree inside
but one, to eat of it was sin
for in the day that they ate of it
they would surely, surely die.
and would have to leave this garden,
and their sorrow greatly multiply.
They would have to tend the earth,
thorns and thistles would grow tall
by the sweat of their brows they'd work
and child birth, the greatest pain of all.
Many centuries have come and gone
and the earth groans from pain to pain
From the wars it's seen upon it's face
innocent blood leaving it's awful stain.
His commandments have all been broken
His name has been used in vain.
He feels the sorrow and Sheds great tears
For He wants us home with him again.
This is His earth were walking on,
It belongs to Him you see.
Not one square inch belongs to us
But it was given to us free.
He wants us to be happy and to
return to Him someday.
So kneel upon this sacred earth and
remember when you pray
To have a humble, grateful heart
and thank Him for all that's yours
and try to keep this world we share
safe from hatred and awful wars
If we really want to thank him
Then let us learn to love each one
of his children with all our hearts
and remember his beloved Son.
Keep the earth from destruction by
respecting its land and seas
And remembering who it belongs to
to know this will make us free...

"I Saw God"
I saw a rainbow, and in it I saw his promise
I saw the clouds caress the rugged mountains, and I felt His tenderness
I heard the crashing waves and in them I heard his mighty voice.
I heard the wind and felt the rain, and saw the tears He's shed for me
I felt the heat of the burning desert and I saw his burning pain in the Garden of Gethsemane
I saw the stars in their splendor and I saw him moving in his Magisty
I saw the beauty of a red rose and in it I saw his sacrifice.
I saw a baby born and I knew the magnificence of his creations
I saw him in every, hill and every valley, In every desert and swamp
I saw him in every face that I passed on the street today.
I saw him in every smile that lit up the face of every child
And I saw him in each sunrise, and every sunset that painted the horizon
I saw him and knew that his hand was in everything that I loved and enjoyed
This earth is His.
He placed all this beauty here for us to see and enjoy each day.
Look up, Look around, see him moving in his magisty.
His hand was and is in all things.
Yes I saw God today
