"I Heard Your Prayer"

I heard your prayer again tonight

I even saw your tears

You are not alone, my child

I cried with you up here.

You asked me for forgiveness

And to help show you the way

I forgave you then, yes instantly

Now tomorrow's a new day.

I sent the help you asked of me.

I offered what you desired most

Put forth good faith and trust in him,

For he is the Holy Ghost.

He works through me, and relays to you

Messages right from wrong.

He's the burning in your bosom

When you sing my Christian song.

I know that you are trying hard

To lead your family back to me

Prayers are all you need for now

Let the rest be up to me.

You've been blessed with patience,

and talents I adore

And because you live life righteously

You'll walk through temple doors.

Hand in hand with the one you love

to be sealed for eternity

You'll add to the chain of love, my child

with the rest of your family

I give you peace as you sleep tonight

And your prayer is in my hands

Your faith so strong, I'll lead the way

It's all part of my plan.
