Chocolate Delight
I received a valentine today,
A box of chocolates, I'm going to pay.
As I opened the big red heart.
I looked inside, wondering where to start.

My favorite caramels, I could not find,
For there were chocolates of every kind.
As I held it, looking and gazing,
I picked one up and started grazing.

First one, then two, and three and four,
Before I realized I was eating more.
As I ate each one so contently,
OH MY GOSH! the box is empty.

And as I watched my midriff bulge,
I couldn't resist the desire to indulge.
And though it may not be very bright,
Eating chocolates are my delight.

The moral of the story you see,
That chocolate has a hold on me
