So you ever walk into a clothing store
an think bout stealin shit but see the "will release ink if you break"
warning an give up...well dont!.. this is much easier to steal than the
magnetic tags that set an alarm off..just take it home, follow my guide
to take off the tag..an you got a nice new shirt/pants/whatever... the
great thing about these tags is that they are the easiest to steal (next
to no security at all..) and it lets you learn about how these devices
work. most of how they work is just to scare the petty theif into thinkin
that it's worthless to steal b/c you'll just get ink all over it..dont
be scared! it's surprising too easy..The ink tag i'm describing is the
one from Security Tag Systems, Inc.

work:
There is the bottom part with the label that has some ink and
some holes so that if you are a dumbshit, and try to remove it by hammering
it or something to that effect, it will spill some ink.. it has a grooved
needle sticking out of the bottom that goes through the material to the
cap.. the cap has a hole on the bottom so that the grooved needle can go
through.(also one on the top..i'll get to that later). the cap also has
some tiny metal ball bearings in it that catch in the grooves of the needle
and prevent it from taking the cap off..there are two glass vials of ink,
one red and one black. The needle is really a tack, and the blunt end of
the tack is under the vials so if you try brute force pulling on the cap
to take it off, the vials break..

there were some ball bearings inside and you will see the needle going through when your removing it..(also, the plastic cover is removed from this pic..obviously..)

Saw where is says "Saw here" to remove the plastic cap.. then turn upsidedown and shake a little bit..the ball bearings will fall out and the cap will slip out very easily..that's it! now wasn't that easy!..You can also cut the metal needle but that isn't as fun and might tear the clothing..also the needle is kinda hard to get to
How employee's

Employee's have this tool that is like
a hollowed out needle that fits into the top hole of the cap (see the above
pic.) and fits between the grooved needle and the ball bearings so that
the cap can slip out..
Conclusion:
Well, i hope you understood everything..i
tried to make it simple. just go out and experiment..there is no substitution
for experience..by the way..make sure you dont mistake the magnetic tag
for a purely ink fill tag (some have both..) most only have one or the
