QUESTIONS ON MISUSE NONPROFITS:TITLE 26 USC 501(c)3
 

Background: Many charities and nonprofits had their humble beginnings with the vision of a founder who was moved by compassion for the less fortunate. Title 26 USC 501(3)c was originaly created by Congress to assist churches and similar organizations to have a tax exempt status which is currently referred to in the United States as "nonprofit status".

American Institution of Philianthrophy report stated that the non profits have evolved into a $147 Billion industry. The natural evolution of these organizations replaced the vision of the founding father with a corporate structure, highly paid management staff, and usually a substantial vested interest to maintain or enhance the problem they were created to solve. The loophole created by Congress using 1st Amendment to assist these organizations was eventually discovered by criminal interest as a lucurative tax dodge.
