The Indonesian Vegan Society exists to promote a lifestyle that is free from animal products. The reasons for adopting veganism are many and include health, compassion, preserving natural resources, and making better use of water and farm lands.

We hope that vegans, vegan organizations and vegan companies will all join with us in making life better for our animal friends, improving our environment and educating people about the benefits of a vegan way of life. "The time has come when we should all be able to wash ourselves, dress, eat and live our daily lives without feeling remorse for the animal products that we may have used."
