The human body is unquestionably one of the most fascinating and beautiful creatures this world has to offer. Our curves, slants and imperfections are what make us different from each other. Our inner beauty and confidence comes from our ability to walk past a store window and smile as we glance at our reflection. This is the catalyst we use in our quest for self-expression.

The world of body modification, specifically body piercing, for centuries has been one of the most popular methods of beautifying the human body. Whether it be a simple earlobe piercing, or a genital piercing, it is our pursuit of being able to feel that we are as beautiful on the outside as we are on the inside. For this we will go to any lengths; extreme or conservative.

For me, to be able to boost someone's self esteem by a simple careful placement of a piece of jelwery is phenominal. A man who is self-conscious about his penis size may find peace after adorning his genitals with various piercings. The woman who is ashamed of her body, or unhappy with her breasts, may find happiness and beauty after having her nipples or navel pierced.

Body Piercing brings all the people involved one step closer to acceptance, tolerance and happiness with who we all are. It's the closed-minded, self-important people who refuse to allow us our individuality by claiming that we are all freaks. They claim that we have no idividuality whatsoever because others have the same piercings on their bodies. Meanwhile, they drive the same cars, wear the same baseball caps, and join the same Country Clubs.

We are the new society, the new tribe, and the new voice.
