Who's Ratatosk?
That cartoon squirrel.
Why the name?
He's named after Ratatoskr (which means "drill-tooth"),
the squirrel who used to run up and down the trunk
of Yggdrasil, the world ash tree, bearing messages between the eagle at the top and the
dragon at the bottom (if I remember rightly). Ratatoskr was a confounded
gossip;
he only
talked to the characters on the tree in order to make them more annoyed with one another.
Ratatosk is not like that. He is a very cuddly squirrel, I assure you.
