Frank Gardi was one of the original founding members of the Calabrians Multicultural World Society Inc. On February 24, 1985, he was elected as Vice-President of the organization and has served in that capacity ever since. He is the longest serving Executive Member for that position in the organization's history, winning elections by such profound margins that no one in the last campaign even ran against him.
It is Mr. Gardi's enormous reputation for civil service, community development, charitable contributions to multiple causes and his commitment to multiculturalism and egalitarianism that make him one of the most valued and respected leaders within the organization.
From his fiery speech in 1985 that brought founding members to their feet to his leadership chairing committees such as the Building Fund, the Euro-Canadian Exchange Program and Future Development Project, Mr. Gardi has brought national and international exposure to the organization. He, along with Governor Orlando Tridico, Treasurer Elio J. Principe, Aziz Beg, Josephine Barone and Frank Tridico are the longest-serviving Executive Board Members to date.
