Well, first of all, I am a christian. Jesus Christ is my Lord, my savior, and
my very best friend. I grew up in a christian home, and always went to church.
I asked Jesus into my heart when I was four years old. I am so glad that my
parents pointed the way for me. Everything good in my life has come from God.
I am a wife. I try my best to be a good one. I love Larry with all my heart.
He means so much to me. He is someone I can laugh with, talk to, listen to, or
just be with. Everything that I enjoy doing is more fun when I do it with him.
(Except shopping, he hates to go shopping) Larry is my second best friend,
second only to God.
I am a SAHM,(stay at home mom) and I am very happy that way. I never really
wanted anything else. I planned to go to college and be a teacher, but that
was just in case I didn't find anyone to marry. I should've know better,
though. God called me to be a wife and a full time mom, and he provided the
right husband for me. So many times I think I have to do it all, instead of
trusting in God.

Some Things I Enjoy Doing. |
1. Surfing the net, chatting (when I have the time), and making home pages
(although I am not very good at it yet). We first got hooked up to the internet in mid summer, 1997. I have had my page since January, 1998. I love
the internet, especially email. A few of our friends in TX have email, it is
so much easier to stay in touch.
2. Reading. I really enjoy reading, although I have sort of been stuck in a
rut. When I got pregnant with my first daughter, I suddenly discovered that
I was only able to enjoy light reading (Except for the Bible). I only wanted
fiction books, where everybody was happy, and all problems were solved at the
end of the book. Just as I started getting back into heavier books, I got
pregnant again. My third baby came so close to my second, I didn't even have
time to start getting back into it. My last baby is 22 months old, I suspect that
in a few months, I will start getting back into heavier books. (Unless
another baby comes along)
3. Shopping. (Very few women don't like shopping, I do know a few)
4. Playing the piano. I had a year of lessons when I was a freshman. My piano
teacher taught her students to play by ear for the first year. She felt that
playing a little by ear would help when it came time to learn how to read notes.
Since I quit after the first year, I only learned by ear. I can only play in
the key of C. For a long time I could only play three chords, C, G, and F. With
the help of Larry's mom, I have added a few more chords. I am going to start
lessons from her in a while, and will hopefully learn how to read notes.
5. Well, for goodness sake! I can't think of anything else to put here. I must
be a very boring person. I guess a need a few more hobbies, eh?
Favorite book - The Bible. (Now, didn't y'all expect that?) After the Bible,
I guess my favorite is The Blue Castle by L. M. Montgomory.
Favorite movie - The Princess Bride. (Despite what some people from Parent Soup
might think, I did NOT copy that) My younger brothers saw this before I did,
and they kept telling me about it. (This was when I was a freshman in high school, I think)
After telling them repeatedly that I wouldn't like it, I finally watched it. I
loved it! It has been my favorite ever since. (They still tease me about that)
Favorite T.V. show - Star Trek-The Next Generation. I didn't watch this when it
was prime time, even though my brothers kept telling me how good it was. (Guess
I should listen to them more) Now I watch the re-runs every chance I get.
Favorite music groups -
Third Day and
All Star United. I also have a couple
Vineyard praise CDs that I love. I
have listened to them so much, though, that now they are full of skips. :-( If
you would like to see a list of other music groups and artists Larry and I
enjoy, click here .
Favorite song - Go And Sin No More by
Rebecca St. James. (I had a really
hard time picking just one song, there are so many great ones)
Favorite food - Chinese food & cold pizza.
Favorite drink - Coca-Cola.
Favorite name for a boy - Jean-Marc or Jean-Luc (Larry hates both of those
names, we will never use them)
Favorite name for a girl - Amethyst (Larry doesn't really like this name, either)
Favorite colors - black, dark green, dark blue, and silver.
Favorite flowers - iris', lilacs, and red roses.
