"My name is Ronald Wayne Clark Jr. I'm looking for loyal people seeking genuine friendship. I was born April 30th, 1968 (31 years old), in Jacksonville, Florida. I'm 6'4", 230 lbs. muscular with blue eyes and brown hair. I've been locked up since Feb. 7, 1990 and I'm on Death Row. I'm in here for armed robbery/murder. I was offered a life sentence but I wouldn't take it. So I took it to trial and lost and got a death sentence. The only family I have out there is my mom. So I need to make some good friends that will stand by me. Age, race, sex doesn't matter, as long as you have a good heart.  Cause its loyal friends I truly seek. For those are the ones that are quite unique. So if you have this quality that I admire write and lift my spirits higher. Please write, I will answer all."

When charged, Ronnie pleaded innocent. He was informed by the Prosecution
that he would receive a life sentence if he didn't fight the case, but as he knew
he was innocent - the choice was easy - he fought. However, the State-paid
lawyer assigned to his defense handled it poorly and so Ronnie lost his first
fight. Since he refused to accept the "no trial" option and life sentence, it
meant he would now face the Death Penalty. This is where it stands at the
moment. Ronnie is trying to raise funds for a better defense. Whether writing
to Ronnie as a friend, sending a money order or banker's check as donation, or
