The picture shown here embodies why I love my Lord, Jesus Christ, so much. Here, he hangs perfectly, yet suffering for the sins of all mankind. On that day, he died so that you and I might live forever in the Kingdom of God. The mere fact that He loves me that much is astounding. I do not profess to a certain denomination, but rather to Christianity. I currently attend Mountain View United Methodist Church in Marietta with my family. <>< Phil. 4:13 " I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" - This verse has helped me through more hard times then I care to count. It wasn't until I learned that I am too weak and am helpless outside of the grace of God that I gained true strength. Now, I lean heavily on this promise when I make decisions, take exams, have to handle a tragedy, or simply need comfort. God is my Rock.... and He's all the strength I need.
<>< James 1:17 - "Take time to reflect on the small joys, the sweet surprises of creation" - This verse reminds me of butterflies... my favorite creatures. They are continual reminder that we have new life in Christ. I became a new creation when I accepted Christ and His salvation.
