Things to Bring and Tips for Camp

As you probably just read I have been going to camp for a while. I over pack everywhere I go, whether it is camp or vacation but here is a list of things that I thought were the most important.

Things to Bring

Clothes-- Pants, Shorts, t-shirts, jacket, sweatshirt, extras of everything, raincoat, bathingsuit,
Shower Items-- Towel, shampoo/conditioner, soap (you're cabin will thank you..hehe), a shower basket is handy to keep everything together in and take in the shower with you
Shoes-- sneakers, flip flops/shower shoes, sandals (if needed for dance/church)
Writing Supplies-- Pens, paper, stamps, envelopes, addresses of friends and family
Bedding stuff-- Sheets, pillow, sleepingbag
A camera!!

I could go on and on and on... but those are just some things I really recommend bringing

Some Tips

Be prepared to have fun ok??
Not going to get as much sleep as normal, so rest up ahead of time...hehe
Parents/Family/Friends-- Do write lots!! (without expecting a lot in return, us campers are busy people =) )
If sending a camper a package, which is always nice to get, be sure not to send food-- I know at the camp I go to the counselors confiscate it til camp is over
