Take a look at Y! Intai when it runs.
Main

Simple design: title, menu bar, toolbar, user list
status, user list, webcam viewer list, activity status, and copyright
panel. When logged in, the window’s title display logged user name.
Menus and commands availability will always be synchronized with
application's state. Most commands have shortcuts. Use them instead
clicking here and there.
User list is presented as tree to support grouping. Collaspe or
expand groups for easy view. It’s drag-and-drop and right-click
enabled, too! Virtually there is no maximum capacity, but you will
wait very long for refreshing to finish if the user list is too
big. Employ several Y! Intai instead (installed in different
folders). Use export/import to backup your user list or to merge
it in order to use Y! Intai in more than one PCs or recovery
purposes.
Running Y! Intai from a floppy disk is not recommended
although it is possible. |
Sign In
| Enter server name, Yahoo! ID, and its password. Due
to Yahoo! protection, your account will be unable to reveal
user online for several minutes after several refresh activities.
Use the fail account to sign in with Yahoo! Messenger to return
the power. Prepare more than one account to be used. The valid
server names, logged in Yahoo! IDs, and the last successed password
will be remembered by Y! Intai. No proxy support in Y!

Change some options for your flavor. Just
one thing to be cautioned, specify valid folder name for saving capturing
webcam images (JPEG format). If folder doesn’t exist, it’ll be created
automatically. The images will be stored in sub folders of this folder
with cam owner’s name as sub-folder names. File names of the images
are formatted as:
yyyymmdd hhmmss.hs.jpg
or
hhmmss.hs.jpg
indicating time when the image was acquired (captured). The 2nd
format is applied when date is used as subfolder names. |

Webcam Viewer

| Enter or select the user name of webcam's
owner from the drop down edit box. Set whether you want to view webcam
as anonymous user or not. Y! Intai decides if it is possible
to view with a user name or not. Persistent and Capture
options can be used anytime for changing the webcam viewer's behavior.
Increase zoom factor using [Ctrl]+[PgDn] or decrease it using [Ctrl]+[PgUp].
Don't put anything in front of webcam viewer window to capture webcam
images correctly. Activate Stay On Top to make it stay
above other windows. Optimize the captured images
on-the-fly for fine capture but smaller file size. Get rid of same
images bys using DiffSense. Take advantage of Smart
Zoom option, too. Get naughty with the superb Hide feature!

Send Message

Use Send Message feature for sending
an Instant Message. It doesn't provide receiving function. Send only. |
Webcam Seeker
| Use this window to seek webcam of any user
from out of user list. It won't automatically launch webcam viewer
when the target user has running webcam. Press, View button when available. |
