The Weekly Paper of Ash Flats
Volume I

Night Raid!
Two days ago the inhabitants of Jubitz Junkyard, a settlement not far from Ash Flats, were awoken in the middle of the night. A water still just outside their community, owned by the Truckstop Transients Gang, was viciously attacked.
Sources close to the Transients have informed the Observer that members of the Goliath Gang "Jerry's Juveniles" staged the raid. Despite being caught off guard and unaware, the Transients rushed to their still and successfully defended it from the marauders.
The victory would not have been possible were it not for the actions of one ganger. Attacked from behind by the savage Juvenile's leader, Jerry Lawless, the Transient Ganger Hank not only held his own but also defeated the fearsome Goliath. Hank sounded the alarm, which brought aid to the precious water still.
After that the battle raged for nearly an hour. The non-stop firing of the Lawless Gangs Heavy Stubber echoed through the surrounding domes and tunnels. When the Stubber finally fell silent the battle was over. The Juvenile's Gang had fled the scene, heading home to lick their wounds.
The water still was saved, but at what cost? The Transients had suffered three casualties from the encounter. A severe blow has been dealt to their gang, only the coming weeks will show just how serious.
No one in Ash Flats doubts there will be a rematch, the question is only when…

In other news…
Tutor Departs
As suddenly as he appeared, Grimren Bracken has left town. For a short time the famed weapons master from the Spire had made his home here in the Ash Flats. During his short stay he attracted warriors from all around to train under his watchful eye.

Guilder Sanctions
Following the recent attack on a Guilder merchant the Watchmen are following a number of leads. Various business owners and citizens from around Ash Flats have been named as suspects. Among the groups under investigation are members of the Truckstop Transients Gang.
Guilders acting in protest against the attack have placed sanctions on all suspects, and are refusing to trade with them.

Coming Attractions…

We have recently started a Necromunda Arbitrator campaign. Included in that campaign will be this newsletter detailing current events, gang ratings of the players, and challenges from player to player. As the campaign grows, we hope that this letter grows with contributions from players and help keep everyone up to date.
Some of the things we hope to put in here at a later date are obituaries for gangers that found them selves on the wrong end of a stubgun. Also we would like to included classified section for your gangs to buy and trade things such as equipment (maybe), or hire mercenaries.
We also want people to contribute to the Observer as well. So feedback is most welcome!
