WORKING GROUP ON ELECTRONIC ANIMAL IDENTIFICATION ISO / TC23 / SC19 / WG3

Subject: Agenda / Invitation to the next meeting in Lyon (F)

Wageningen, Sept.28, 2000

The next meeting of WG3 will be held in Mainz in Hotel Stadt Mainz, Frauenlobstr. 14, D-55118 Mainz on Thursay Nov.16 and Friday 17 Nov. 2000. This meeting place is on a walking distance from Mainz Main station ("Hauptbahnhof"). Further travelling and lodging information is: see below.

Note that all WG3 documents only will be distributed electronically, using the e-mail distribution list of WG3, up to now maintained by the SC19 secr. Mrs Simon Carmen, email: simon_lav@vdma.org

If you are not online up to now, I recommend you to provide for an Internet connection with e-mail and WWW services. Please inform both Mrs. Simon Carmen and me about your new email address. Unless you will request me by fax for continuation the transmission of documents by surface mail, I will distribute further documents only by e-mail.

I have made reservations for 32 rooms (single or double), expiring by Oct. 16. Please book before Oct. 16 and confirm your participation to this meeting by sending also a message by e-mail: w.j.eradus@imag.wag-ur.nl or by fax +31 317 425670 to Wim Eradus, IMAG-DLO before October 16, 2000.

Travelling and Lodging information

32 rooms (single/double) have been reserved up to Oct.16.
Their rates are as following:
Single room with breakfast DM 110; Double room with breakfast DM 150; Lunch DM 18.50; Coffee/Thea DM 2;
Soft drinks DM 3, Cake DM 4. Use of the meeting room with overhead projector is included in the lodging fare.
The calculated price for one night in a single room with 2 lunches and refreshments at the meeting (4 coffee/thea,
2 softdrinks and 1 cake) is DM 165.

Your actions

Please book your accommodation before Oct. 16,
stating the code "ISO" and also the number of lunches. Confirm your attending of the meeting to the WG3 secretariat by e-mail: w.j.eradus@imag.wag-ur.nl
or by fax +31 317 425670 to Wim Eradus, IMAG-DLO, informing also if you want to join the dinner on Nov.16, which will be organised in the old centre of Mainz.

How to reach the meeting place:

By plane from Frankfurt Airport: travelling by S-bahn (Underground) from Frankfurt Airport to Mainz Hauptbahnhof (Main Station) takes about 25 minutes, then it will be less than 5 minutes walk to the hotel (see maps).

By car: see maps or better: consult your own map of Germany. On a distance of 20 m, you can park your car at "Tiefgarage Bonifaciusplatz".
