Roaldo D. Strong, son of Silas D. Strong and Desmonia Lambertson was born in Ohio about 1853. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland in 1873. Roaldo married Etta Brown, a music teacher, in June, 1879 in Kansas. He was a school teacher in Marshall County, Kansas.
