Rachel C. Strong was born about 1827-28 in Richland County, Ohio. On October 16, 1857, in Crawford, Ohio she married Ira Parker and then moved to Clay County, Nebraska. Rachel and Ira had the following children: William, Charles, Clearwood, and Hattie. In January of 1891, Ira and Rachel's family, along with Rachel's brother Silas and his family, moved to Lewiston, Idaho. Rachel's date of death is unknown, but presumably she died in Lewiston.
