Mary Everilda Strong, daughter of Silas and Hannah Kirk (Russell)Strong, was born July 29, 1873 in Riley County, Kansas. At the age of 16, she moved in with her older brother, Roaldo and his wife and learned the art of dressmaking, which became a career. On August 17, 1895, Mary married Edward White in Lewiston, Idaho. She died in February of 1962 in Lewiston.
