ECLESIAL MOVEMENT APOSTLES OF THE WORD
A service to the Catholic Church
 

    Maybe now more than ever in the history of the Church are Jesus words up to date "The harvest is plentiful but the woeker are few". (Lk 10,2).  The Eclesial Movement "Apostles of the Word" represent a reponse more to Jesus desire that "Workes of the Gospel increased".
The principle objective consists of fostering in the young people the desire to dedicte them selves to evangilze for a year:"Serving" in the Church".

    At this time they have the opportunity to deepen their faith, studying more clesely their vocation, if there is no decision of choice, and without any attach ments their apostolic work is perfomed.  Under the guidance of experienced personel they are encouranged their spiritual journey and do the apostolic work, therefore when the returned to the place of origin with more preparation and enthuusiasm.
    At the end of a year's compromised, each one, with the agreement of the directors in the movement, con renew the commitment for another period of time of their choice.

Who are they?
    They are men and women that have experieced the edification of the word of  Word of God in their lives and feel the necesity to shared it with others without counting the difficulties and sacrifices that this mission required.
    Their apostolate is the frontier: they go to the homes and the most abondoned zones of those whom no one has evangelized by giving them the Word of God. Actually, having in mind the problem of the sects, one of the activities more important consists of promoting and defending the Faith.
    The principal desire is to be guided by the Holy Spiritand disposed the brothers heart to a sanctifying actitude.
    Their apostolic activity is accompany always with the testimony of detachments, sacrifice and persistance.

Organization:
    The Eclesial Movement "Apostles of the Word" is divided in three sections:

*The Lay People Section
    This section is the largest and has three banches: Single men and women; and married couples.  Each branchs es coordinated individual.  The director with his council coordinates the three branches.

*The Section of religious women of consacrated life.
    This women are contemplating of dedicating all their life to the service of the Church, following the spirit and methods of the movement.  After two years of special formation, they make the promise of poverty, chastity and obedience.

* The Clerical Section
    This includes priests, transitory and permanent deacons, seminarians and aspirants to the permenent deaconate.
    They are intergrated in a diocese and foster the activities of the movement.
    In order to become of consacrated life or clerical, it is required to give a year's service in the Lay People Section.

Formation
    For admision  to the Movement, it is important that there is a desire for conversion, good will and capacity to work as a team. If the condition are met, for sure God will realize marvels in the candidate which little by little he will be transformed to a "Witness of Christ".
    The method of formation consists of alternating the apostolic activities under the guidance of experienced persons with refllection and study.  Every two months they have a week's studies.  At this time all the teams come together for an evaluation of their experiences, the studies are more sistematic of the Word of God with classes relating to the Gospel, and have an encounter with God more profound.
    Besides every year there are specialized courses during one or two months, for a better capacitation in the catechetical field or human promotion.
    After a years committment or promise, complete dedication to the apostolate, studies may continue until they are accquired: primary, middle school, high school and university.
