I want to thank the people at City Hall for all their help in pinpointing 219's old north end. They believed it was here, at the north end of the business district; Michael Ehret confirmed it . This picture looks south at what would have been 219's first block.
SOUTH End: Stop sign, IA 9 and M27, Dickinson County

This LGS includes two destinations actually on 9, instead of towns that aren't on the route.

In the background across the road you can see new development. Lake Park is benefiting from the booming population in the Iowa Great Lakes area and is steadily creeping south toward Highway 9. A new junior high-high school for the Harris-Lake Park district is being built on the south side of town.
