Remembering Bruce
Family and friends I welcome you to my site, I made this site to honor Bruce and all that he was to each of us. You may come here as often as you like and if there is a memory or a picture that you would like to share on here please let me know.
I have learned that the one thing death can never take away from us, is our memories and our love for Bruce.
Cherish those memories that were made and keep them tucked in a special place in your heart reserved just for Bruce.
Remember Bruce with smiles and laughter, not tears and sorrow. And rejoice for the time we had with him before God called him home.
When it is our time and God calls us home, Bruce will be waiting at the gate to welcome us, and we will be together once again.
1956-2002
Come With Me
God saw you getting tired,
And a cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around you,
And whispered, "Come with me".
With tearful eyes we watched you suffer,
And saw you fade away.
Although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Your hard working hands to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.

Bruce fought his battle of cancer with strength and determination. Trying to get as much out of life as he could during his remaining days. He did this with a smile on his face and laughter in his voice.
May I go
May I go now?
Do you think the time is right?
May I say good-bye to pain filled days
And endless lonely nights?
I've lived my life and done my best,
An example tried to be.
So can I take that step beyond
And set my spirit free?
I didn't want to go at first.
I fought with all my might.
But something seems to draw me now
To a warm and loving light.
I want to go. I really do
It's difficult to stay.
But I will try the best I can
To live for one more day.
To give you time to care for me
And share your love and fears.
I know that you're sad and afraid
Because I see your tears.
I'll not be far.
I promise that, and hope you'll always know
That my spirit will be close to you,
Wherever you may go.
Thank You so for loving me.
You know that I love you too.
That's why it's hard to say good-bye
And end this life with you.
So hold me now, just one more time
And let me hear you say,
Because you care so much for me,
You'll let me go today.

We have let you go in life but never in our hearts and minds.
Miss Me But Let Me Go
When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me,
I want no rites in a gloom filled room,
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little, but not too long,
And not with your head bowed low,
Remember the love that we once shared,
Miss me - but let me go
For this is a journey that we all must take,
And each must go alone.
It's all part of the master's plan,
A step on the road to home
When you are lonely and sick of heart,
Go to the friends we know,
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.
Miss me - but let me go.

Bruce loved the outdoors, and was a true outdoorsman. The challenge of hunting, fishing, trapping, and gardening were just a few of his hobbies.
The Broken Chain
We little knew that morning that God
was going to call your name.
In life we love you dearly,
in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you;
you did not go alone,
for part of us went with you,
the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories;
your love is still our guide.
And though we cannot see you,
you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
but as God calls us, one by one
The Chain will link again.
