more info A tragic start to the new year for a Davenport family after a fatal car accident. Fifteen-year-old Jolee Cox was killed Monday night on Wisconsin Avenue, and police are still trying to figure out what happened. Police say the teens were heading south on Wisconsin Avenue, when they veered off the road hitting a colvert. The driver suffered minor injuries and 15-year-old Jolee Cox was killed. The accident doesn't surprise neighbors like Marcia Moore who have seen many tragedies on this road over the years. But police say speeding doesn't appear to be a factor in this latest accident. As police continue their investigation, relatives try to move on hoping Jolee's loss will influence others to be more careful on the road
