I¡¯m getting so tired of writing about this¡¦We checked out of our hostel, caught the subway to the train station. Bart and I had a little adventure right near the train station that will stay between us¡¦the train ride was also the most unique train ride I¡¯ve ever been on¡¦also an inside story¡¦.The trains were nice. We had lay over in Montpellier for a could of hours from like 9-11 then we finally arrived in Marseille. I should have done more research before we left to discover when the busses stopped running. Marseille is a rough town and we found ourselves standing at the closed bus station looking like Americans in an Arabic part of town. I hailed a cab, he told me it would be about 50-60 euro for a ride to Aix. I didn¡¯t care, I wanted to get out of there.. So we took this cab. When we got into Aix I didn¡¯t know how the one way roads worked so the driver got angry with me when we did a big circle then I got my bearings and told him how to get there. We arrived home around 2 something and Barts plane left the Marseille airport the next morning at 7 am. Fred drove us to the airport around 6 am.
the picture is way too far away, and we look like dorks, but in the background is that big famous statue of Columbus at top of the Rambla
