1. May I - "Nooow, who got the beat that makes ya bump, and who got the the thump that makes you thump, well I got the funk that makes you thump, so we gonna funk this muthfucker right on up". This track sure does thump, and the
lyrics are off the wall, Snoop flips the script perfectly. This is an uncanny beat for Snoop to spit on, but I like the beat Soopfly provided. All aspects of this song are tight, the lyrics, beat and chorus, good way to start off the record. 4 out of 5.

2. C-Walkin - This track was remixed by Big Hutch and CO-produced by a new Death Row producer Myrion. The beat is definitely dope, and the chorus is bangin, " Shoot em up, shoot em up bang bang, it's all part of the gangbang". Not a bad song. 3 out of 5.

3. Head Doctor - (featuring Swoop G) - This was the first single off of the album ever since it was supposed to drop in April. A cat named Kurt Kobane redid the beat, it's pretty tight. But I still like the original better, for the newer version they just put Swoop G in the mix. The chorus is off the hizzzoook, and the lyrics are impressive also, I like Swoop G's verse. 4 out of 5

4. Hit Rocks - This is one of the best tracks on the album, the beat may be the tightest of them all. DJ Pooh laid down the instrumental along with Snoop. " Cause were all a little strong in the beach were the paper's long, but as for me my only g's is when I'm bussin' rocks", I like the hook also, I just like the mutherfuckin track! 4 out of 5.

5. Tommy Boy - (featuring Daz) - Snoop and Daz teamed up for a track about some guy that they use to know, Tommy boy. Daz laced the beat here, it's pretty funky. Though this song aint all that. 3 out of 5.

6. Change Gone Come - "When doggy dogg comes, you better ansssswer", I like this track, Snoop's rips the track up to pieces right in the beginning Snoop, L.T. Hutton and Soopafly joined forces to create a sick beat, with the violin played in the background. Shit's tight as fuck. 4 out of 5.

7. Too Black - This is a laid back song with Snoop just chillin. L.T. returns to produce another track, it's another nice beat. Not much to say really. 3 out of 5 dubs.

8. Gangsta Walk - (featuring Daz and Kurupt) - It's nice to see a Dogg Pound track, then again it would be nice to see a good one. Daz produced this dpg melody, which should be called "Gangsta Talk", instead of "Gangsta Walk". I have heard better Dogg Pound songs, maybe that's why Snoop left this track off of any albums. 2.5 out of 5.

9. County Blues - (featuring KV) - This is the classic "blues" song if ya know what I mean, with the harmonica in the background. Daz and Hutch produced this song together, though it's hard to believe they actually collaborated. Hutch just probably added on to the track. A newcomer named KV sings at the end of the song. Again Snoop's lyrics aren't that tight. 3 out of 5.

10. I Will Survive - (featuring Technique, Kurupt and KV) - Snoop's one time Doggystyle Records protege' Technique starts thangs off, his flow is pretty dope. Soopafly did the tight beat, Kurupt has a short appearance rappin the chorus. KV finishes off then track. 3.5 out of 5.

11. My Favorite Color - (featuring Big Hutch) - This is by far the shittiest track on the record as far as lyrics go. Hutch doesn't know how to mix Snoop's voice here, it sounds like he took a freestyle and pasted it on to a pretty tight beat. The instrumental is really dope, it's too bad the song was ruined because of the bad lyrics and mixing. I like the hook done by Hutch, "We all people, tell me when we gonna get treated the same". This song had potential. 3 out of 5.

12. Me and My Doggs - Coming to an end, Death Row reuses an old Snoop track from The Doggfather. Thats pretty sad, but I like this track and I'm still gonna rate it. The beat done by L.T. is mad tight, and lyrics by Snoop are nice too. 4 out of 5.

It's almost funny how Death Row tries to degrade there one time prodigy, Snoop Dogg. Simply by the cover title, "Dead Man Walkin" you can tell that the Row is trying to get into Snoop's head. In this record they do the little things like miss credit him on his track "Head Doctor" which it reads, Swoop G featuring Snoop dogg. Also the little graphic that reads "MONEY OVER BITCH!". Though to me it seems the other way around. This album is 12 tracks of mostly bull shit, and if they really meant anything to Snoop at all, you would have seen them on one of his albums by now. A majority of the songs came from the post Dr. Dre era, around late 1995 and into 1996 when Snoop recruited the likes of DJ Pooh, Soopafly, and L.T. Hutton. Overall, the production which came from Soopafly, DJ Pooh, L.T., Daz, Big Hutch, Myrion, Kurt Kobane and Snoop turned out to be pretty good. You can bump "May I", "Head Doctor", "Hit Rocks" and "Change Gone Come" with ease. But the rest of the LP is really quality bullshit. Ther isn't that one bangin song, know what I mean? Though this is Snoop Dogg, and it is a must have for any Snoop fan, but it is by far the worst Snoop Dogg record put out yet. Death Row will keep on insulting Snoop, but the truth is you just cant bring down the Doggfather. - Incognito
