hip hop reviewed on fire 2/27/02 - Update #006
We're back, and we come with gifts.  First off, Hellrazor has brought us a review of mamoth proportions to settle the score with "Stillmatic."  Yes, we roll deep, cause this is our third perspective on the album.  Be sure to give that one a read.  Also, Infinite did a review of maybe Nas's weakest album, "Nastradamus" to see what went wrong.  He also reviewed "Iron Flag" by the Wu.  We also got Dilated's "Expansion Team" review from the Lord Smeely. One - Incognito

What's happenin?  We've gathered a few reviews for you to check out. Jake went over "The Score" by The Fugees and took a look back at Xzibit's pre-fame album, "40 Dayz & 40 Nightz."  And also, Hellrazor gives you a review of Pac's "Me Against The World" album.
In the meanwhile, if you want to see a review of an album that we don't have, hit any of us up and we'll try to come up with a review for it so we can help you out. - Incognito

hip hop reviewed on fire 1/20/01 - Update #004
S'crackin homeskillets, I just want to say we're back with a peppered passion and whoever gayed our old layout up, is a total fruit basket.  I mean, damn only a person in the same club as Richard Simmons would spend that much time adding all that gay crap up, anyways check out my new and old reviews and hit me up with your thoughts.  Peace.
Thanks to everybody though, who stayed down and loved what we have been doin, cause we'll keep going.
Today, we got an article on Hittman's latest situation with Aftermath, where I interviewed his close friend, DJ Ben Baller. It's titled, "Hittman Wants Out." Also, we have Infinite's thoughts on the modern classic, "Stillmatic," and another one of his deep articles, "What Does It Mean To Be A Fiver Percenter?" and a glimpse at the "Reflection Eternal" album from Talib Kweli. Also, we brought along a new contributor to the writing staff, Lord Smeely, who already brings you a nice overview of "Enter The Wu: 36 Chambers." - Incognito, BIGjakeDOGGYdogg

hip hop reviewed on fire 12/31/01 - Update #003
Well, it's the last day in the year 2001, and it's been a crazy one.  Our staff came up with a few reviews for when your counting down tonight.  "The Return Of The Regulator," "Stillmatic" and a look back at the classic Bone Thugs epic, "E.1999 Eternal". I quickly wrote an article that you should tale a look at: "5 Mic Fuckups".
Infinite is also putting together his own book, "Apocalypse Now: Prophecies of a 20th Century Martyr" which will be available through the site coming up in the next few months.
Hit up the Album Review Forum too...just follow the link to discuss and post reviews on all types of hip-hop albums.
Have a safe New Years, and stay true to them resolutions you made as we enter 2002. - Incognito

hip hop reviewed on fire 12/20/01 - the birth
Hip-Hop-Reviewed has landed.
Before we get started, I'd like to say that this website was an idea of mine that was brought to life thanks to Lil Jay...mad props for your help.  He has given us a home for our opinions, articles and reviews which will be brought to you by: Infinite, BIGjakeDOGGYdogg, Cliche and me, Incognito.  That is our core of writers right now, feel free to email us with any article or review that you want seen.  Just make sure you don't give us something that will embarrass you when people read it.  Anyway, this was like a dream come true for me, to put up album reviews and articles for people so they can enjoy them and maybe get something out of them.
Don't want to talk too much, because you can read a quick overview of our genesis to the left, and how shit came about.
We bring hip-hop reviews from all side of the spectrum, and we even review the hottest joints every week for y'all.  Right now, we got my old material from wckillaz up, as well as a ton of new album reviews and articles for you to check out.  Just for look through all the sections so you can read up on the latest shit.  Here is where you'll come to peep the best album reviews around.  Also, we got our Banger Of The Week section up, where we pick the hottest song of the week and talk about it.
We'll update everytime we have new material to put up, so don't worry if we don't update for a while.  Check back...cause we're prolly gathering up a grip of material to hit you with all at once. We hope to stay a float, so hit any of us up with comments about the site.  One, Incognito
