What should I bring to the Crop and Stamp?
Plan ahead, and bring your scrapbook pages or stamping projects ready to assemble!  Pre-planned pages  and stamping projects will go together easily, and allow you to enjoy this retreat, get a lot done, and keep what you need to bring with you to a minimum. Scrapbookers - don't forget your pictures, permanent pen, cardstock, embellishments, cutter and adhesive.  Stampers - don't forget your ink pads, stamps, scissors, cardstock, envelopes, etc.  If you forget something, there is an excellent chance that one of our vendors will have it for sale in Paradise Island.

Will I be able to shop during the Crop and Stamp?

All of our vendors will be bringing an abundance of supplies from their stores.  You will be free to get up and visit the Paradise Island vending area which will be located right outside the doors of the Promenade Deck at any time.  Some vendors will allow you to keep a running tab throughout the crop and stamp.  Vending hours for registered guests will be the same as the Crop and Stamp so that it will always be convenient for you to get what you need when you need it.

Will there be any supplies available for use during the Crop and Stamp?
Back by popular demand!  The Stampin and Scrappin Pad in Marion will once again be setting up their diecut machine for you to use at any time free of charge during the retreat.  Memory Lane will also be bringing theirs this time making several different font choices available for our guests.  Card, envelope and box diecuts, as well as a number of other objects, will also be available.

What if I'm new to all of this and have never done any stamping or scrapbooking before?
You will love learning either/or both of these wonderful hobbies.  Beginning classes will be available for both scrapbooking and stamping first thing Friday night and first thing Saturday morning.  Please click here and check out the I'm New section of our website.

Can I sit with my friends at the crop?
When you register, you can request to sit with friends.  Simply write in their names on the registration form.  If you would like to make a seating request after you've sent your registration in, simply drop Kris a note at gortale@mchsi.com and we will do our best to meet your request.

What if I get hungry?
Heartland Crops will provide beverages and snacks throughout the retreat.  There are also restaurants on the premises and in the surrounding area.

What is your beverage policy?
Only beverages with lids will be permitted on the tables, for the safety of your albums and stamping projects, and the safety of the albums and projects of others working at your table!  Beverages without tight fitting lids should be kept on the floor.

Will there be prizes?
Oh yes!  There will be prizes!  There will be many opportunities to win prizes through drawings, games and contests.

Can I buy tickets at the door for the Crop and Stamp?
If there is still space available after all of the pre-registrations are processed, tickets will be available beginning Friday evening at 6:00 p.m. at the registration booth.  Please note, however, that the Heartland Crop special price of $25 for both days is only good until April 15.

Are Gift Certificates being offered?
Heartland Crops will offer Gift Certificates for this event. What a wonderful early Mother's Day or birthday present this would make. If you know of someone who may think this the perfect gift for their stamping or scrapbooking wife, mother, or daughter, please pass this opportunity onto them. Upon receipt of a name and address and check for the registration fee, we will send a gift card to the recipient. If the giver would prefer to have the gift card sent back to them to give personally, we can do that also.

Heartland Crops will also offer $5 Gift Certificates.  These Gift Certificates can be used towards a registration or at the vendor booths.  What a fun gift this would make for a friend tucked away in a thank you note or "just because you're special" card.  Or surprise a friend with one at the retreat to spend in the vending area!

Will I receive a confirmation of my registration?
An email confirmation will be sent if you provide an email address on your registration.  Because it is our goal to provide affordable retreats for everyone, Heartland Crops will not be sending out confirmations by mail in order to keep costs down. If you would like a verbal confirmation, feel free to call Kris at 319-351-7924.

What is your cancellation policy?
At this time, Heartland Crops is unable to offer cancellation refunds.  Registrations, however, are transferable to another individual.
