Advanced Ink-Its Take the Basic Ink-Its class to a higher level when we show you how to use the Studio II markers and blender on top to get a one-of-a-kind look. 
Background Pages Becky Higgins Style Sherrie from The Stampin and Scrappin Pad in Marion will just be returning from CKU and will share with you what she’s learned from Becky Higgins, herself. Learn tips on tearing, crumbling, folding, and other texturizing techniques. This one will fill up fast, so plan to register early!  l= Additional class section added.  This class now being taught in the 7:00 and 8:00 timeslot on Friday night.
Basic Ink-Its Learn how to make great backgrounds with Studio II Ink Refills with Linda from Twin Oaks.    Similar to the polished stone technique, this looks just awesome with embossed images.  Basic stamping knowledge required.  If you are interested in this class and haven't stamped before, you can sign up for one of our Stamping 101 classes to bring you "up to speed".
Blotting Techniques  We will be making spectacular cards using the Studio II ink.

Chalking 101 You will not believe how easy it is to use chalks. You can add instant customized color to your scrapbook pages with this versatile medium. You will have the opportunity to chalk a scrapbook page and a title while learning how easy it is with FairyTale Creations. Bring chalk if you already have it.
Collage Stamping on Boxes Always wanted to know how to stamp "collage" style?  This class features a  fun project made with a triangle shaped box.  Color with "cat eye" pigment pads and stamp with collage images for a very artsy look.  These boxes are great for small gifts, tree ornaments or just by themselves as mini art objects.
Creative Lettering Learn creative ways to "jazz up" your titles and journaling with the latest software out on the market for computer fonts and journaling. We’ll show you what each has to offer and help you make the decision of which one is right for you.
Dry Embossing Welcome to Dry Embossing. This is a fun class using a light table & embossing tool to make a cute card, combining white and colored cardstocks.

Embellished Diecuts Many scrapbook artists like the look of chalks and may even own a set, but are afraid to try them. This will be just one of the techniques used in this class which will teach you many different ways to turn the simplest diecut into a work of art!
Hidden Treasures Learn how to make peek-a-boo pages and four page spreads using Paper Adventures’ Page Flippers. These are fun page ideas that will take your layouts to the next level.
Itty Bitty Books Perfect for small class pictures of friends or for a small gift album! Learn how to make these cute little scrapbooks that are cut from cardstock and are spiral bound.  
Journaling The creator of Bumper Crops will be teaching Sherrie from The Stampin and Scrappin Pad in Marion journaling ideas and tips at CKU. Sherrie will share what she’s learned with you.
Nontraditional Items #1- The Newest Trend Eyelets, Brads, Glitter, Ribbons and Iron Ons are showing up in all the major magazines. Learn how you can add some of these exciting new embellishments to your layouts. Note, this class is different from Nontraditional Items #2 although a few of the techniques will be taught in both.   l= Additional class section added.  This class now being taught in the 7:00 and 8:00 timeslot on Friday night.
Nontraditional Items #2 - The Newest Trend This class will teach you some of the fun nontraditional items you can use in your scrapbooks and on your cards.  We will cover wire, twistel, threads and much more.  Note, this class is different from Nontraditional Items #1 although a few of the techniques will be taught in both.

Paper Piecing Have you ever looked at other people's paper piecings and thought "I could never do that?" We will show you that indeed you can! This class will teach you this wonderful technique and give you an opportunity to make your own paper piecing that will make others look at your page and think, "I could never do that!"
Perfect Pearls  Learn how to use one of the latest products on the market - Perfect Pearls. You will be thrilled with the results of this product when used with The Perfect Medium Pad . The Perfect Medium Pad can also be used as a watermark pad or resist pad. All three of these techniques will be taught in this class.
Punch Art Adding punch art to your pages can be fun and easier than you may think. This class will teach you the basics of punch art as well as give you hands on experience at creating three beautiful embellishments for your scrapbook pages.
Quilt Pages If scrapbooking is the quilting bee of the new millennium, why not put a little quilting into your albums? Learn to apply the popular technique of quilting to your album.  Bring adhesive, scissors, black fine tip pen, an paper trimmer if available.
Remembering 9-11 Etched into our memories the date of September 11, 2001 will forever be. Where we were. What we were doing. What our loved ones were doing. In this class we will share with you a timeline for the days event, archival copies of some of the most prominent photos published and create two two-page layouts for your memories of the day the terrorists attacked America.  Please bring adhesive, paper trimmer and scissors.

Rubber Nature "Tool" Stamping Re-invent the way you stamp.  This class will show how to use the Rubber Nature Art stamps in the technique they developed a whole line of stamps around.  A must see for the stamper, an interesting idea for the scrapbooker!  
Scrapbooking 101 If you are just starting out, this class will teach you the basics you need to know and give you the ideas and confidence you need to start turning that pile of pictures into beautiful layouts.
Scrapping Your Heritage Bring copies of your family photos (either one 5 x 7 or a variety of smaller photos) and learn how to make an elegant scrapbook page. Basic tips for tracing your family heritage to obtain info for your scrapbook pages will be shared. Other items to bring to class include: Plain and decorative scissors and your trimmer.
Shaker Boxes Shake… Shake… Shake.. Sand from the beach? Confetti from your daughter’s birthday party? Whatever it may be, come and learn how to add these cute embellishments to your pages or cards.
Stamping 101 Learn how versatile and fun stamping can be! This class will teach stamping techniques for use on cards, scrapbooks, and other fun projects.
Studio II Shading & Blending  Wonder how they get that professionally shaded look?  This class will teach you how to use these vibrant, gorgeous alcohol-based markers.
Tag-You’re It Tags are so much fun! Come learn how you can use them creatively on your pages and cards or……. just by themselves!

Tear Your Art Out Learn how to give your layout unique texture with torn paper. Tearing is simple, they do it in Preschool, but learn to create shape, scenery and texture. It wouldn’t be paper tearing with out a bit of Mulberry paper.  Bring adhesive – NO SCISSORS ALLOWED!!!
Tools of the Trade Coluzzles, Magic Matter, Empressors, Die Cut Machine, Power Punch - you've heard others talk about them or seen them in the stores, but what are they and how do they work? Come find out. A trained instructor will teach you about these and many more wonderful scrapbooking tools including the Fiskars Shape Cutter, EK Circle Scissor, EK Blade Runner, and the Fiskars Circle and Oval Cutter. You will have the opportunity to try them for yourself.
Unique Papers There are many beautiful and different types of papers on the market such as Diamond Dust, Vellum, Translucent, Wood, Flannel, Postscript,Two-Tone Archival, Mulberry, Velveteen Papers and more. This class will show you how to use these unique papers to add variety and to enhance your artistic syle. You will also have the opportunity to see Paper Adventures' new Page Flippers.
Using Border Shotz and Mosaic Overlays Learn different ways to use these unique accompaniments to enhance your pages.
What’s New in the World of Scrapbooks? Sherrie from The Stampin and Scrappin Pad in Marion will show you all of the newest products introduced at this year’s HIA (Hobby Industry Association) Convention.
