Character Races

These are the only races you are allowed to choose from for your characters. However, if you have a suggestion for a different race to add to the list, please feel free to tell me about it!

[ Humans ] [ Dwarves ] [ High Elves ] [ Wood Elves ] [ Dark Elves ] [ Nymphs ] [ Centaurs ] [ Felinae ] [ Vampires ]

Humans - Humans are about the average when it comes to statistics in races. They are by far, the most greedy and power-hungry. Most of the other races blame humans for all the corruption in the world. However, humans are the smartest of the races, so their lack in strength can be compensated for with their wit and problem-solving skills. Humans are mortal, and cannot become immortal unless through some extremely powerful magic. Humans have no abnormal weaknesses.

Dwarves - Dwarves have human physical characteristics, except they are miniature versions. In general, they are short and have a very stocky build to them. Dwarves are the heartiest of the races, and can survive in the most extreme conditions. Dwarves are the masters of fine art and artisanship. In battle, they are not very stealthy, and rely mostly on battle axes and maces. Disliked by elves.

High Elves - High Elves are like most elves physically, sharing human characteristics, but are the tallest and most slender of the Elven races. Their skin has a pale silverishness to it, and glows a bit. You would think their eyes have no irises at all, because they are so dark in pigment. They have many different colors of hair. High Elves are very peaceful, and see themselves as about physical combat. (They see themselves as above almost everything in fact...) High Elves are generally quiet, but not necessarily polite. They practice the arcane and spiritualistic arts. Elves are not immortal, but do not die from old age, or get sick.

Wood Elves - Wood Elves could be mistaken for very beautiful, tall humans, if it weren't for their ears. They are pale in complexion, and have natural human shades of hair. Wood Elves deeply respect nature and are offended by acts against it. Wood Elves prefer peace, but if it is called for, they are skilled in battle with a bow or sword. Elves are not immortal, but do not die from old age, or get sick.

Dark Elves - Dark Elves are not necessarily evil, but they have a tendency to be. They are the same height as humans, but the male dark elves are slightly more muscular, and the female dark elves are more curvy. They all have dark blueish skin, white fingernails and very light colored hair. Their eyes come in all colors. Dark elves are not keen to helping other races, nor to trusting them. If wars in the world do not directly affect them, they prefer to remain neutral. Basically, dark elves stay in their own business, but give their opinions on other races' decisions, asked or not. Their weapon of choice is a dagger or a bow. Elves are not immortal, but they cannot die of old age, and do not get sick.

Nymphs - Nymphs come in three different types : Wood, Water, and Fire. Respectively, Nymphs may turn into a tree, water or flames whenever they wish. Nymphs are generally very mischievious, playing jokes on wandering travellers. They only live in uninhabited parts of the world. Nymphs do not partake in battles themselves.

Centaurs - If there was a War-Bound Race, the Centaurs would be it. Scorned and ignored by the rest of the world, the half-humans, half-horses have grown bitter towards everyone outside of their race. They have the strength of 5 men, and aren't afraid to use it. Don't make them mad. They are masters of all weapons.

Felinae - (Singular= Felina) In Layman's terms, cat-people, or furries. Felinae prefer to roam the world by themselves, staying away from groups. With their stealth, they make excellent thieves and assasins. Their weapon of choice is a good dagger, or a poisoned dagger if the situation calls for it. Felinae's coats come in many, many patterns.

Vampires - As creatures of the night, they seduce their victims (usually in the streets or taverns) and then feed on them. Crosses and sunlight burn them, no reflections. There's no killing these things unless you've got a wooden stake handy. Or sunlight in your pocket. They've got the strength of 3 men packed into them. They've really never been involved with many wars in the world, they prefer to stick to their own little sub-culture.
