J. Malloy
Starting his career at the age of 10 playing guitar, J. Malloy
engineered his first live show at the age of 13. About the same time
playing in a working band in the Western Maryland area.
At the age of 18 moving to Southern Florida, J. Malloy found himself
playing with several acts that worked at live acts more so than
recording projects.
During the first Gulf War, J. Malloy moved north to pursue a career in
radiology technology. Soon he realized the medical field was not meant
for him. He then relocated to Seattle, Washington.
While there he completed schooling at The Art Institute of Seattle in
the Music/Video Business Program. After graduating, his career started
first in duplication. Shortly after he join the team at Muzak. J. Malloy
started as a Sub-Master Engineer, which lead into a department newly
created specifically geared for Internet broadcast of Muzak's extremely
large library. J. Malloy was one of 4 individual involved in the Enso-project,
he performed most of the beta testing and departmental procedures that
are still in use today. While with Muzak J. Malloy was contracted to
broadcast the 1997 NBA play-offs via real audio for ESPN and NBA.com.
When coming to Arkansas J. Malloy had a dream of bringing the latest
technology to Central Arkansas to give the artist what they deserved.
Working with the Free Press and local entertainment affiliates, J.
Malloy has opened the doors for several artist through various avenues.
