Web page objectives:   share data, jump start others, make contacts, use a simple web page format.

I am once again uploading descendent trees and reports on material collected and posted in my FTM files, which I started in the mid 1990's.  Except for material out of NE Iowa and NE Missouri, must/most of the information is collected from internet web pages, but also from personal web contacts.  I had little or no info on many of my surnames of interest in the early 1990's.  Wiith a functional internet developing by the mid 1990's, a number of online contacts volunteered their files to jump start the process.  Now of course with the numerous online trees/reports and info, data collection is much easier.  I cannot attest to he accuracy of any of the material I have posted in my files, but do have some level of personal knowledge/research for those pioneers that moved into NE Iowa and NE Missouri.
My genealogy and history pages started in the mid 1990's when home computers became functional enough to be easily utilized to record unlimited amounts of data and graphics, and to allow worldwide communication and sharing of data/information through the internet.  My genealogy web pages have evolved to be as  simple to update as possible, thus getting away from much of the graphics of earlier work.  I am big on pictures of people, history, landscape, lifestyles, but have removed nearly all graphics from any recent web work.  I am once again uploading pictures to a functional/stable photo hosting site, after being burned by several hosting sites in the past.
I may have other information or graphics stored which can be shared by personal contact.  I have too many pages or other activities to make consistent corrections/updates to any one page, thus pages often become outdated.  Any pages I have online are likely to be linked off the IowaZ Sitemap, to include any photo hosting sites.
