VolunteersWanted!!!
Student volunteers to assist with Kids' Club, a programme for children with autism and their peers to promote social skills and communication.
Fortnightly starting on Monday February 11th
at Peachgrove Intermediate
Peachgrove Road
Hamilton
4:00 pm to 5:30 pm
Volunteers will help Eric Messick, the programme co-ordinator, with behaviour management, activities, setup, and other aspects of the programme. Eric will provide on-site training to volunteers for the duration of the programme. Kids' Club is an excellent opportunity to gain some professionally directed experience working with children. Apply at any time by sending a CV and a police background check from your local police station (or a short letter indicating the date you applied for a background check... they take a couple of weeks to process) to the programme co-ordinator. You can also just come to Kids' Club and talk with Eric in person:

After receiving your CV and background check, Eric may contact you for a brief interview and further details about the programme will follow.
Please feel free to call or write to Eric for more information.
