Note: All information on Arthur Henry Rawls and his descendants from Henry Rawls, 5/8/2000. We have no documentation of linkage from Arthur Henry to William Arthur Rawls, but Henry Rawls believes there is a connection.

From Henry's notes:
- 1850 census of Lexington County, SC, p. 409
- Martha Maude Gunter Rawls and children listed on 1860 census of Lexington County, SC, p. 444
- There is a deed in the Hartley Papers under the year 1830 in the Lexington County, SC, Library in which Phillip Rawls devised land to Elisha Rawls by his last will and testament. Elisha sold the land on West Creek, Edgefield District, SC, to Elert H. Norris. The document was dated 24 Mar 1827, and was witnessed by James N. Norris and Arthur H. Rawls. If correct, Arthur Henry Rawls probably belonged somewhere in the Edgefield County, SC, family.
- Those tracing the Lexington County "Rawl" family have not found an Arthur Henry in their research
- Probably the son of Elisha Rawls?
