According to Gladys N. Bennet (in e-mail to Loretta McKenzie dated 18 Feb 2001), Louisa McKenzie married William Wiley Davis (called Wiley). William had 3 children which were not Louisa's, but it is unclear whether Louisa was his first or second wife. Apparently, they were separated after their children were born, and Wiley moved to Mississippi while Louisa stayed in Alabama with the children. Later, Louisa moved to Mississippi and settled in the Black Creek community where Wiley lived so that the children could be nearer their father. The family later reunited, then Louisa and Wiley were divorced. Supposedly, Louisa married again, as did Wiley. However, Louisa is buried as a Davis with Wiley.
