The remaining mistake plates were distributed to the local meet hosts (Dunkerton, Iowa, Elkhorn, Nebraska, Great Bend, Kansas, Shelbina, Missouri, and Herington, Kansas) in the Heartland plus 10 to the ALPCA National in Niagara Falls New York, as donations to their respective auctions during 2001 and 2002.
