Comments: Cleo, my mom, is a wonderful person. She met her future husband when she was 6 and hated him until she was 12. He didn’t like her, and didn’t until they were on a camping retreat together when they were 16. He asked her out, and they dated on and off until finally he broke it off when she turned 19 because he was going to a European college. When he returned four years later, he immediately found her and they got back together. They married when she turned 26, surprising all who knew their relationship in high school. When she was 44, she died in a car crash. She was soft spoken and motherly, and very pretty.
