         We are all set to get together on Saturday, 16th January 1999, to celebrate Pongal and the inauguration of Cedar Rapids Tamil Sangam. The response to the earlier mails was amazing and now we expect close to 100 people to participate in the function on Saturday. As we would feel cramped in either of the clubhouses mentioned earlier, we have reserved the hall at Central Park Presbyterian Church, 1700, B Ave NE.

 Please try to be there by 6:00 pm. As we have the hall only from 6:00pm to 10:00 pm, it will help us finish up in time if we can start as scheduled. Also as there are some games planned for the evening, starting on time would definitely help.

     The church charges $100 as rental fee for the hall, and we all may need to share the same.

     The church is located at the intersection of 17th St. and B Ave. Turn into 17th St. from 1st Ave(left, if from downtown/right, if from Collins rd), turn right at the stop sign and turn left into the parking lot. The entrance to the hall is from 17th St.
