One of the latest on the shelves of Zeeshan is "Pudhumaip Piththan" the R.Paarthipan starrer . It has all that one would expect in a Paarthipan movie, plus a whole lot of advice to public, the youth in general. The dialogues by RNR carry the punch necessary for all these political plots. Paarthipan plays Jeeva, a revolutionist villager who wants to serve the poor. He ends up becoming the chief minister of the state who is loved by his people. How he does that forms the story-line. The cast includes Devayani, Roja, Priya Raman, Ranjith, Anandaraj, S.S.Chandran,Delhi Ganesh, Jaiganesh and Vadivelu though none of them have a significant role to play other than Anandaraj and Roja. Music by Deva, as usual, remains familiar and at the same time passable, with sub-standard lyrics.
This movie is meant to be a wake-up call to the people of Tamil Nadu but it is left to the viewer to decide if it really is.
