The Nation of Fellhand orcs come from the high, harsh mountain land to the west. Their diet consists mainly of meat, sometimes cooked. The Fellhand Orc’s weapon of choice is the Arau-Dakog (“bear-gutter”). Similar to the Chinese Kwandao, the heavy broad blade is used to sever limbs and disembowel prey or an opponent, while the thrusting tip is used for closer combat, or bracing against the ground. Their armor and livery are black and grey, arranged in diagonal slashes for camoflauge purposes.

Fellhand orcs are often nomadic hunter-gatherers, supplementing this with plunder. Fellhand raiding parties are an absolute horror. The orcs ride down upon a village in the dead of night, roaring and howling. All who fall under their blades are taken back to the tribal den for food. Every resource is consumed or destroyed, and even the buildings are razed to the ground. No scrap of usable material is left behind in salvagable condition, and for this reason alone did the Fellhand orcs remain mere legend for a long long time.

On the battlefield, Fellhand orcs are bold to the point of being foolhardy. They stand up in plain sight of the archers, taunting them to waste an arrow. Strong and hardy, they often go heavily armored into battle to blaze a trail for lesser soldiers to follow. Sometimes their battle-rage leads them to plunge headlong into a hero's death, however.

Fellhand orcs are the most arrogant orcish tribe, usually not even deigning to speak in the common tongue or speaking to non-orcs at all. An old orcish saying is that one has "iron in the blood" ("ang na gijak" or simply "angijak"). Elves do not have this quality, although dwarves and some men do. Those without Angijak are disdained and often would do well to avoid the notice of Orcs altogether.
