The Nation of Bloody Ear orcs inhabit the hills and forests to the north. They are omnivorous and often use traps and snares to obtain food. They raise cattle, though they will not actually farm crops. Their weapons of choice is the scimitar, and they often fight with two. The Bloody Ear Orcs are the most versatile, if not the hardiest, of the local orc nations. Their armor and livery are brown and black, arranged in vertical blocks for camoflauge.
The tribe obtained its name from its custom of slavery. Females of all species are subjugated by these Orcs and one of their ears is cut off as a sign of ownership. This unattractive detail was usually covered with an ornate leather patch, often enhanced with beads and feathers. The duties of such a slave are more or less pleasant once complete obedience is obtained, and usually include normal housework and sexual favors.
The Bloody Ear orcs are renowned among all the Nations for their craftsmanship, including leather, beads, and carved wood. They also enjoy music and dancing very much, and are probably the happiest of all the orcish nations even in peacetime.
