Steph Says...there ARE women involved in gaming...and I don't mean the impossibly proportioned female characters either. I'm talking about the women who PLAY the games. Not Barbie Fashion Editor , or Spice Girls , or any other multimedia crap marketed as "games for girls", but real games.I've been playing games since I was a wee tyke. I'm an only child, and my dad is an electronics freak. He was dragging me to the arcade back when Asteroids was a high-tech marvel and getting the high score meant something. Years have passed; I've gone through an Atari, a Coleco, a Nintendo, Super Nintendo...well, you get the picture. The point is, I love games; I even work at an arcade. My favorite genres are fighting, sports (football!), and puzzle...but I've been known to play about anything. Hopefully by throwing out some ideas, opinions, and reviews, I can give a voice to all the girls out there...and I know you're out there!!
