Muscatine High School Class of 1989

It is truly amazing how it is almost 14 years when we graduated from MHS. The fact is that while we have a special bond with the group of students who were in our graduating class, we went to high school with more than just our classmates, unless you were completely anti-social.

We probably could not recall who spoke at our graduation or what was said, but what we do remember about high school is some of the teachers.

We also remember the people who were our classmates as they were so central to your life during a time that seemed so important at the time.

What is so great about class reunions is that we were able to enjoy what we have in common and to revel in how everyone turned out.

We're far enough from high school to appreciate what we learned there that was worth keeping. We're also old enough to have moved beyond all the silly stuff we learned there that we should have let go by now.

We're adults, and we're free to appreciate the youth we once were, and that is what was so great about the recent reunion. See you in 2004!!
